Theodoric Solomon (c ) vs. Wolverine{No DQ Match-Lightweight Title}
O'Hara: Our next bout is scheduled for one fall and is a No Disqualification Match for the WFW Lightweight Title! First, coming to the ring, the challenger, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 220 lbs., WOLVERINE!!!
("Zerospace" by The Kidneythieves begins to play and the fans get on their feet and look toward the stage. The darkened arena is doused with red and white lights and the WFW-tron shows a Canadian-tinged video as Wolverine step out onto the stage and walks down the ramp without a moment's hesitation. He gets a mixed reaction from the fans, though more cheers than boos. Wolverine stomps up the steps and climbs into the ring. He checks the tape around his wrists as the music fades.)
O'Hara: And his opponent, coming to the ring, from Smithville, North Carolina, weighing in at 175 lbs., being accompanied to the ring by Mika, the WFW Lightweight Champion "THE RULER" THEODORIC SOLOMON!!!
("Penetrate" by Godhead hits on the arena's speaker system as the lights fade, and Theodoric Solomon comes out arm-in-arm with Mika, his video playing behind them. The fans greet their champion with a barrage of 'boos' and hisses. As they walk down the ramp, Theo actively taunts them, and they react by 'booing' louder. He slides into the ring, stands up, and stands on the second rope and taunts the crowd some more. He takes off his belt and taunts Wolverine with it, then points to Mika and smiles.)
Michaels: This might be the most hatred-filled, intense rivalry in the WFW over the past few months.
Lang: And its been all over to things, the Lightweight Title and that pretty little filly in the corner over there, Mika.
Michaels: Ugh. She might be pretty, but don't let that fool you. She can be just as evil and vindictive as anyone in this building.
(The bell rings and the two men circle each other. A quick elbow-and-forearm lockup turns into a side headlock by Wolverine, much to the delight of the fans. Theodoric hits Wolverine with a few rabbit punches in his side to break the hold. Theodoric then Irish whips Wolverine into the ropes. Wolvie bounces back and kicks the bent over Theodoric square in the chest. As Theodoric holds his chest and stumbles a bit, Wolverine grabs his wrist and whips him into the ropes. He hits Theodoric with a spinning powerslam upon his return. He gets up and pulls Theodoric to his feet. Wolverine drops Theodoric with a snap suplex, but keeps a hold on him. He gets both of them back to their feet and hits another snap suplex. He gets them up once more and hits a third snap suplex, then rolls through for the pin; the ref counts, 1…2…Theodoric puts his leg on the bottom rope and the ref sees it.)
Lang: Good move by the champ.
(Wolverine gets up and kindly instructs the referee on how to make the count. He turns back and reaches down, lifting Theodoric to his knees. Theodoric reaches up and pokes Wolverine in the eyes, disorientating him. Theodoric gets up to his feet, leans against the ropes, and hits Wolverine with a low dropkick to Wolverine's legs, taking them out from underneath him. Theodoric moves over and begins pounding the back of Wolverine's head with forearm after forearm. Theodoric gets up and looks out at the booing fans with a vicious look on his face. He pulls Wolverine to his feet, but Wolverine shoves his hand away. Wolvie Irish whips Theodoric toward the corner, but Theodoric jumps up on the top turnbuckle and jumps back, hitting the pursuing Wolverine with a Doomsday Deathdrop {corkscrew moonsault}! Both men scramble to their feet, with Theodoric getting up first, He Irish whips Wolverine into the ropes, then drops to his belly, allowing Wolverine to hops over him and bounce off the opposite ropes. Theodoric gets up and goes for a dropkick, but Wolvie holds onto the ropes, making Theodoric to hit nothing but air. Theodoric gets back up, Wolverine steps forward and hits him with a front dropkick.)
Michaels: Wolverine is taking his time and not allowing himself to make any crucial mistakes in this match.
Lang: Oh, he'll make a mistake. I guarantee it; he always does. That's why he's not the Lightweight Champion any more.
Michaels: Point taken, but learning from your past mistakes is just as important as avoiding new ones.
Lang: Bah humbug.
(Both wrestlers get up and Wolverine hits Theodoric with a floating superkick! He then wastes no time in grabbing Theodoric's legs and flipping him over, puts him in the Maple Leaf Lock {Sharpshooter}! The ref checks for the tap, but Theodoric shakes his head 'no'. Meanwhile, Mika rushes around the ring and picks up a steel chair. She slides into the ring and standing in front of Wolverine, she hits him over the head with the chair! It doesn't seem to affect him much, as he just drops Theodoric's legs and stares at a shocked Mika with bulged eyes. He walks forward, backing her up. She drops and gets out of the ring and he follows her. They run all the way around the ring, then Mika gets back in the ring; where Theodoric is now back on his feet. Wolverine gets in the ring and looks at both Mika and Theodoric; both are standing side-by-side, trying to decide whom to attack. He goes to punch Theodoric, but Theodoric pulls Mika in front of him, causing Wolverine to hit her instead!)
Michaels: Oh, just when I thought Theodoric couldn't sink any lower…
Lang: I'm sure he thought that Wolverine wouldn't hit Mika.
(Mika drops down to the mat and Wolverine looks somewhat surprised at what he's done. Theodoric slowly reaches down and picks up the steel chair. He goes to hit Wolverine with it, but Wolvie catches the chair in his hands! He yanks the chair away and blasts Theodoric with it, sending him down to the mat in a lump. He picks Theodoric up again in a reverse front headlock position and pauses, looking down at Theo in disgust as the fans cheer. He then hits him with the Buzz Killer {The Final Cut} and goes for the pin; the ref counts, 1…2…3! The bell rings and the fans cheer louder.)
O'Hara: Winner of this match, and NEW WFW Lightweight Champion, WOLVERINE!!!
Lang: He used a chair!
Michaels: This was a No DQ Match; remember?
Lang: Guh…
Michaels: Serves Theodoric right anyway.
(As "Zerospace" starts back up and the ref hands Wolverine the title, he walks over and checks on Mika, who's starting to regain consciousness. He sits Mika up and talks to her as Theodoric shakes off the affects of the chair shot and slowly gets to his feet. The fans try to warn Wolverine as Theodoric picks the chair up and rushes over, bringing it down across Wolverine's back of the head, sending Wolverine into Mika! Theodoric hits Wolverine across the back with the chair again. He then drops the chair down on the mat and grabs Wolverine's left leg, sliding out of the near side of the ring. He keeps a hold on Wolverine's ankle as he lifts up the apron and eventually pulls out another steel chair. He puts the chair over Wolverine's left ankle and wedges it under the bottom rope. He picks up the chair and measures up his shot as Mika pleads with him to stop.)
Michaels: Talk about a bad loser. Come on; this isn't necessary. Mika doesn't even want him to do it. This could end his career.
(Mika even gets out of the ring and stands in front of Theodoric, imploring him to change his mind. Theodoric shakes his head and pushes Mika out of the way. He lifts the chair up and brings it down on the other chair in a way that it could possibly break Wolverine's ankle! Wolverine screams out in agony and pulls his leg close to him, holding it against his chest. Theodoric begins to walk away, but then notices Mika isn't with him. He turns around and tells her to follow him. She just stands there, and he disgustedly waves her off and walks up the ramp. Mika slides into the ring and checks on Wolverine's leg as EMT's come rushing into the ring.)
