Harold Fellows - The following contest is the 30 Minute Ultimate Submission Match for the xCw Intercontinental Title! Here are the rules for this match: At the end of the 30 minute time limit, the wrestler who has achieved the most submissions over his opponent will be deemed the winner and xCw Intercontinental Champion. If there is a tie at the end of the 30 minutes, the match will continue into sudden death. First, entering the ring from Toronto, Canada and weighing in at 220lbs. The reigning and defending xCw Intercontinental Champion: WOLVERINE!

("Whatever" By Our Lady Peace plays as Wolverine walks towards the ring. He stops halfway down the aisle and runs the rest of the way, sliding under the ropes into the ring. He paces around the ring impatiently for a while before standing in the middle of the ring.)

Nick Hargreaves - Look at Wolverine! He wants Chris Stanley to just appear in the ring so that he can start to lock on The Crippler and you've gotta believe that he'll keep it clamped on Chris Stanley for the whole 30 minutes!

Gary Logan - I can't argue that Wolverine wants a piece of Chris Stanley so much that he just might want to do that. But Chris Stanley is Wolverine's only true equal in xCw and probably the world when it comes to technical wrestling and the art of making your opponent submit.

Harold Fellows - And his opponent, weighing in at 220 pounds, from Pittsburgh, PA. The Co-Owner of xCw: CHRIS STANLEY!

("Medal" plays as Chris Stanley walks down the aisle with his gold medals. He stands halfway down the aisle and stares at Wolverine who simply stares back. Chris raises his arms and red, white and blue pyrotechnics shoot up from the entrance ramp. Wolverine motions for Chris Stanley to get in the ring, but the Co-Owner of the promotion walks slowly around the ring with his eyes locked on his opponent. He hands his gold medals to the Timekeeper and slides into the ring under the ropes as the bell sounds. Wolverine begins by repeatedly unloading with blows to the back of Chris Stanley, who manages to grab Wolverine's leg and bring him to the mat in an Anklelock attempt. Wolverine quickly gets balanced on his remaining foot and nails Chris with an enziguri kick, sending him down. Wolverine makes a quick Sharpshooter attempt, but Chris kicks him away into the corner, springs to his feet and clotheslines Wolverine to the canvas. He gets back up rapidly and Chris sends him back down with a Head and Arm Suplex. He pulls him up by the hair and whips him into the ropes. Wolverine bounces back off them and dodges a clothesline attempt from Chris before diving through the middle of the ropes to the outside. Wolverine paces around on the outside for a few moments before stepping back in through the ropes and going into a face to face stare down with Chris. This ends when they both lock up and Wolverine puts Chris into a headlock before he's whipped into the ropes. Chris leaps over Wolverine on the rebound and then as he bounces back again, Chris lays on the ground and Wolverine jumps over him. As he bounces back, Chris jumps to his feet and they both come to within an inch of colliding with each other. The crowd begins buzzing as they have another stare down.)

Gary Logan - Ten minutes have passed and thus far, these two have confirmed what I said earlier about being equals in terms of ability.

(They lock up again and Chris Stanley hits Wolverine with a Scoop Slam onto the mat. Wolverine gets nailed with an elbowdrop from Chris, who then goes for The Crippler, Wolverine's own specialist submission move! He locks it on and Wolverine resists it for a while, but eventually has to tap out!)

Nick Hargreaves - What? How damn insulting! Chris Stanley had to resort to using his opponent's own patented submission move to get a tap-out!

Gary Logan - That's our first submission of the match! It's 1-0 to the Co-Owner.

(A 30 second rest period begins before the two go right back at it. Chris Stanley grabs Wolverine by the arm and breaks it over his shoulder before he executes a jawbreaker on him. Chris gets back up and takes to the top and flies off with a moonsault. Chris then follows it up with a knee drop and then goes up to try another moonsault, but Wolverine stops him up there and drops him with a Razor's Edge from the top turnbuckle. He then puts a Camel Clutch on Chris, but he reaches the bottom rope. Wolverine takes almost 30 seconds of the Referee's persuading to release the hold however. After that, he aggressively stomps away on the leg of Chris Stanley. He then lifts the left leg up and throws it down hard onto the canvas. He then reaches under the ropes and under the ring, pulling out a steel chair! He places it around the ankle of Chris Stanley and pushes away the debating Referee. He then proceeds to Pillmanise the ankle of Chris Stanley before pulling him up, whipping him against the rope and breaking the steel chair across Chris' head on the rebound. He throws the chair to the floor outside and drags Chris Stanley to the centre of the ring. Wolverine then gets a little bit of retribution by applying the Ankle Lock to Chris Stanley, who instantly taps out!)

Gary Logan - At this, the 15 minute mark, Wolverine has equalised by making the former Co-Owner of xCw, Chris Stanley, tap out to HIS own submission move!

Nick Hargreaves - It's 1-1 with just another 15 minutes to go!

(After a 30 second rest period, Chris knees Wolverine in the gut and hits the back of his skull with the back of his elbow. He then hits a neckbreaker on Wolverine. Chris Stanley goes to pick Wolverine up, but is struck with a low-blow. Both men send each other over the top rope to the floor. Wolverine stands over the downed Chris Stanley and drops an elbow, stomps away a few times and drops a knee to the sternum! Wolverine then goes to whip Chris into the steel steps, but Chris reverses it and Wolverine hits the steps shoulder first! The two proceed to brawl in the aisle for a while, exchanging punches and smashing one another's heads into the guardrails before Chris Stanley takes his opponent back into the ring, still clutching his chest in pain. Wolverine reverses a vertical suplex attempt into one of his own and hits a corkscrew legdrop. They get to their feet and Chris Stanley rakes the eyes of Wolverine. He tries a belly-to-belly suplex but Wolverine wraps his leg around Chris', preventing the move from being executed. Chris Stanley instead settles for shoving Wolverine into the ropes and clotheslining him to the floor. When Chris joins him outside, he gets kicked in the stomach and hit with a German suplex on the floor. Wolverine goes for a Rolling Thunder on Chris and successfully hits it. Crowd members in the front row get all up in Wolverine's face, distracting him as Chris Stanley slowly gets back up. He tackles Wolverine to the ground and takes a page out of "Stunning" Stan's book by repeatedly punching him in the head following it up with an elbow smash to a great crowd reaction. Wolverine moves back to his feet with help from the guardrail and smashes his elbow into the jaw of Chris Stanley. He rolls Chris back into the ring and wanders around the ring to the Timekeeper. Pushing him aside, he takes the Gold Medals of Chris Stanley and conceals them in his tights. He goes back in and gives Chris Stanley a reverse neckbreaker. Wolverine picks him up again and drops his arm over his own shoulder. Wolverine goes up to the top turnbuckle and comes off with an elbowdrop. With Chris Stanley down, Wolverine gets back to his feet and spits on the Co-Owner of xCw before going to apply The Crippler. IT'S LOCKED ON! Chris Stanley screams in agony, trying to fight the pain! He comes close to passing out, but manages to remain conscious. He makes a reach for the ropes! Wolverine tries to pull him away, but Chris Stanley won't stop reaching! HE GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPE! The crowd give a relieved reaction, but Wolverine again won't relinquish the hold! This time, the Referee shows some balls and manages to pull Wolverine off of Chris Stanley to an enormous reaction! Wolverine threatens to knock out the Referee and doesn't see Chris Stanley slowly get to his feet. Suddenly, Chris lifts him up and drops him with an Olympic Slam! It looks a little weak, but it's an Olympic Slam all the same! Both men are down! Wolverine from the impact of that maneuver and Chris Stanley from the exhaustion! Eventually, Wolverine gets up and brings Chris Stanley up with him. He kicks Chris in the gut, takes a few steps back and scissor kicks him to the canvas. In a cocky fashion, Wolverine nudges Chris Stanley with his foot and goes to the top turnbuckle, snickering. Wolverine executes a picture perfect diving headbutt on Chris Stanley. He then goes to start locking in The Crippler once more, but stops and begins helping Chris Stanley to his feet! He moves away and takes the Gold Medals out from his tights and wraps them around his fist! He waits for a moment and runs at Chris Stanley to knock his head clean off of his shoulders! Chris ducks it and sweeps the legs of Wolverine, sending him down to the mat hard and applying the Ankle Lock! Wolverine quickly taps out as the bell sounds!)

Nick Hargreaves - What the Hell? Is that to signal another submission or has the time limit expired?

Gary Logan - According to my counter here, the time limit has just expired as the Ankle Lock was applied. I don't know if Wolverine's tapping out should count. It's a close call and the Referee's discussing this with the other Officials at ringside.

Harold Fellows - Ladies and Gentlemen, your attention please: The Referee has informed me that, in his judgement, Wolverine began tapping out seconds BEFORE the time limit had expired! It is his decision therefore, that the winner of the match and NEW xCw Intercontinental Champion is: CHRIS STANLEY!!!

("Medal" plays as Chris Stanley is handed his Gold Medals and new title belt and limps away from the ring as fast as he possibly can, because Wolverine looks to be absolutely horrified! The now-former Champion suddenly goes on a rampage, punching out both the Referee and Timekeeper and destroying several monitors and equipment at ringside! He shouts obscenities at the Announcers and the crowd as he follows the victor backstage!)

Gary Logan: My My, Wolverine doesnt look happy!

Nick Hargreaves: What the hell do you expect! He got screwed out the title!
